Our family tradition began in Syria in 1820, rooted in a deep appreciation for fine textiles, craftsmanship and timeless elegance. Passed down through generations for more than two centuries, this heritage continues to shape the values and identity of Mawlana today.
2010 — Istanbul, Turkey: The first Mawlana store.
In 2010, we brought this legacy to Istanbul, Turkey, where we opened our first Mawlana store. A new generation of customers discovered our carefully selected scarves and the refined craftsmanship at the heart of our collections.
2016 — Rome, Italy: Two traditions, one expression.
Our journey continued in 2016 with our expansion to Rome, Italy. Surrounded by the heritage of Italian fashion and design, Mawlana evolved into a distinctive blend of Syrian tradition and Italian sophistication.
2020 — Canada: A wider horizon.
In 2020, we expanded into Canada, sharing our collections with a wider international audience. The journey carried our heritage and our love of beautiful textiles into a new chapter.

In 2021, Mawlana entered the digital world, making our scarves available to customers around the globe. What began as a family tradition found a new way to connect across borders.
